Blackwood River

G-day people.... I was hoping that i might be able to convince some of you guys to share with me a few good destinations to head for by the Blackwood river as myself and a few mates feel like swagging it down there next week end... we got 4x4s but none of us have been there before... we were wondering if there is any good tracks to follow, fishing spots or just general starting points to find our own.... any help will be greatly appriciated... thanks guys.....

i spent a week on a houseboat down there a few months back. Im far from a good bream fisherman but did manage to find them albeit a bit on the small side. there appeared to be a few spots that looked like people fished from shore, id try google earth to see if you can find any. other than that there is a bridge that had a fair bit of access around it but the better fish i caught were more towards Augusta around the jettys which would probably be even better this time of year with the rain flushing the river.
