Boat identification

Gday,
I've recently been given a boat by my old man.
He doesn't use it and I'm moving to the coast so he has given me his.
The only name/make I can see on it is Delta.......does anyone know anything about them? Where they were made....are they still making boats?
Any info good or bad would be appreciated.
Cheers

Gift
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
It looks like it has good lines and shape so would expect it to be a reasonable sea boat. At a guess would say its around 17-18 foot and the 115 black anchor should give it a good top speed.

nice prezzie
Looks like a pretty good boat there mate. And the trailer looks to be in pretty good nick too.
That Jockey wheel looks very serious too. Wouldnt mind one of them.
If you dont want it (the boat or jockey wheel!!) you can handball it on to me.
Have fun with it.

I reckon I might hang on to them....if I change my mind Ill give you a yell. LOL
The trailer is brand new...the old one is in the back ground. Dad didn't think it was up to the trip so I threw him a few bucks and he picked up a new one for me. Hes towing it from the York Peninsula SA over to our new place in WA for me as soon as I move. Pretty damn generous I reckon!!!

Delta Boats
Hairyone, Have heard of the Delta brand but can't help with any info. That looks very much like a Swiftcraft which are built here in WA.
Have a 18 foot switcraft for sale and if they are the same hull you have got one hell of a dry ocean going vessel with the flared bow. Damn heavy, good solid hull. And a good price too!!!!

David
