boating etiquette!
Hey guys
Just have to tell you about this clown on the water today. Was Fishing at what i know as mewstones for tailor and there were several boats there so we pulled up to the side of the reef into a small bay like section and first cast hooked onto what turned out to be a 58cm tailor. Before i could even get the fish in, a boat on the other side of the reef obviously seen me hook up and comes cruising round to where we were and backs his boat right in and ends up 1-2 mtrs to side of us! being in the wash zone you have to be on your toes as is, let alone with another boat that close. after a couple casts i said to them"not to be rude but this isnt really a safe spot for two boats" and all i get is blank stares!! they stayed there for another 5 or so until the looks we were giving them must have sunk in and they took off. It could have easily been a recipee for disaster had a big wave came through. anyway it was a pb tailor for me, i just wish people like that would put safety before a fish!

and you are dead right, as soon as you hook a fish, people wander right over and try to cast right where you are.
P.S. Nice work on the 58cm tailor! They must have fattened up a bit, might be time for a trip out there myself!

I was forced to drive the boat for 88% of the time while you and Shane fished. I seem to remember putting you both on fish that you kept dropping?
