Just wondering if anyones heading down to the old boat show nextweekend? Myself and a few others will be there on the sunday to get a hold of all the runout specials before everyone goes home. Cheers Chris.

The last two years that ive
The last two years that ive been to the over east tackle and boat stores dont like to take much gear home with them so they clear it out pretty cheap, most of its just shit quality but there is some good bargains to be had. My step father also picked up a quinnie dinghy for $1500 bucks which was also a good buy as they retailed for the $3200 MARK! Dont go expecting tiagras and the like for $50 but terminal gear and line is usally not bad........have to check it out for yourself as i usally go with high hopes that get dround pretty quick but its still worth it and i always come home with more bags than what i can carry!lol.

Might go Saturday atm. The weather this weekend might be too good to pass up tho.
Not sure what they are doing this year Dean but last year they had next to no tackle and the stuff they did have was relatively cheap. The Perth boat show seems to concentrate mainly on the boat side of things. The Mandurah boat show usually has all the rods reels etc as well as ski type gear.

mhhhmm, just got this abu c3
mhhhmm, just got this abu c3 6500 off h0ju and it will fit about 350m of 14lb .21mm braid (did the calculations) or about 235m of 20lb .30mm braid... so rather than fill my spool up with backing, id prefer to find some for cheap :P

If you are looking for fishing gear forget it. Ranger is set up there but it seems there boat show prices are 10% dearer than normal. Alot of nice boats to look at but seems a bit of a waste of time and money. I went down to have a look at a bream boat and not 1 boat there.
Will wait for Mandrah show i think.

Absolutly shit! Wouldnt waist my time even if you are chasing a boat.....same here bouttime went to find a centre console and they only had 1 for around $80000 i think!. Wait until mandurah and we might have too get a team together and head down.
