just got a new reel and want to know what the best braid to use is any would be much appreciated

NOT BCF or the likes. Drop into one of the sponsor sites or a local tackle store. Those guys seem to know what they are talking about. Where did you buy the reel and why didn't you get it loaded then? It would have been cheaper.

More info is always better when your trying to get recommendations. The Extreme PE braid is great value at $44.95 for 300m and thats what the Fishing WA filming guys are using with great feedback.

Stepping up if you wanted to go that way (not saying you need to) the Sunline Super PE braid is good.
