Not sure about the rods, but the reels are great, I was just looking at a few to buy this arvo(didnt cause the missus was with).. including an awesome little blue anodised O/H jigging reel... theres definitely some quality there. I was looking for a nice reel to match my Lemax 18kg boat rod... which Im absolutely wrapped with too!!
A site sponsor deals with Lemax and Ajiking too, and I think that was what originally swayed me to even look at them, rather than the standard advertised brands on most fishing shows.... I tend to go to a little tackle shop in Willetton, which started just as bait and term tackle but then I noticed the range of Ajiking/Lemax and how they can work into most budgets, unfortunately for me this arvo I was after a lever drag and not star... and got a little bored with looking at reels that I wasnt gonna buy...
Yeah mate I know the shop was there this morning having a nosie, and the guys put me on to these rods, so before I think serious about them thought ild put this post up to see what other members thought of them.
Thanks rails
definitely have a go with one of them mate, I know mines a boat rod but I drool when I start looking at all the lighter gear, and even the heavier stuff.... prices are well comparable too, not sure if the old fella was there but hes a wealth of info and will put u onto the rod u r chasing... and will bargain too!!... look out for lurch though... cause he'll stand over ya til ya buy something, nice bloke but I know my offsider bought so many things he didnt need cause he doesnt know how to give the 'just perving' look... I love that shop
From my experiences the Ajiking rods are very good rods. I have used a few - the Samson jig rods, the 8ft Sonic and the Duo popping rods - and have been very happy with how they've gone. The finish is great, they generally only use Fuji components and they take a beating.
I've also heard positive feedback on the Pro Italy popping rods and the lighter Zilion spin rods. There are a few guys here who have used them, I know a couple of people have the Pro Italy popping rods so I'd be interested to hear their POVs too.
