Went down to my Bream spot today after having fathersday lunch.
Very very low tide!!!
Caught about 5 bream. It started off slow but towards the end we were gettin busted off a fair bit.

Thanks Jangles. Yeah good
Thanks Jangles.
Yeah good question! I would say that the black bream do pull harder than the silver bream and allways head strait for snags and fight hard from beginning till end.
The silver bream seem to com in pretty easy then fight hard

Nice Work
I agree with tailor marc. Great catches, and good on you for releasing the blacks. I wish more people would release fish.

i know the spot too :) yeah
i know the spot too :)
yeah ive found that bream always take bait which matches thier natural food or is close in smell/taste....
thus the bream go mad on tweed prawns and coral prawns at burswood because of the mussel banks and the prawns up there however, down the river more where you are, mulies tend to go off...
I fished mulies for the first hour of the swan comp and did not even get a single bite! Switched to tweed prawns and within 2 minutes pulled in a 30cm...
Its funny that up in moore river, if you arnt fishing plastics or HB's, they dont go for tweeds either because there is no mussels or prawns in that river system (im pretty sure due to the fact its closed off from the ocean) and in there, they go crazy over mulies too!
