Bream Report

Fished the Canning on Sunday morning for the first time. We landed 7 size Bream, no thumpers with the average size around the 28cm mark and biggest 31.
It was slow going on hard body lures with the water being so dirty. Bait and plastics did the best.
Just interested to hear if anyone else fished the swan/canning or moore river recently?
Cheers

A few
A few around Maylands and up to the causeway.
This time of year can be hard going, with cold and fresh water shutting the fish down.
I usually put the lures away and stick to bait throughout winter.
Probably a good time to concentrate around yacht clubs in Claremont, Nedlands and Freo .
