Bream rigs and lures

Hi everyone. I just want to know a few rigs and lures used for bream. Also I am not the best at picking conditions so could I have a few pointers?

 For bream, little or no

For bream, little or no sinker. Bait holder style hook, bait the prawn tail first and leave the head on. No need to cast out too far, good fish are caught in close near snags. Tides are also pretty important, also leave slack line out as bream will run with the bait before swallowing it. Good luck. Have not done much fishing with lures for bream.

Yep spot on! Try dropping your unweighted prawns straight down under jetties and other structures.  Good bream lures include halco scorpions, bassday sugars, river2sea baby vibes, TT blades and ghost blades. You really need to get your lures in and around structure and be very stealth moving like a ninja!

Still trying to crack that

Still trying to crack that code myself.  Most people would suggest a rising tide or high tide but I have had sessions in the past where I have caught and released multiple fish over 40cm during the bottom of the low.

 I have also caught larger

I have also caught larger fish during the middle of the day, personally I would work on getting your technique right first then once you have caught some fish make some observations on tides moon phases times caught etc. Also make sure that you do not use to heavier line, bream are pretty picky.

i agree with all the others. i suggest that you get the hang of baiting first. then try some lures like gulp sand worms cut in to smaller pieces on a light jig head and gulp 2inch prawns just a bit of warning if the blowies are around it can get quite expensive using gulps, better to use bait when their around;)
