Bremer - Jan 15 - with and without the kids

 Hi All,

First post and a request.

Any info about Bremer bay spots with and without my little (8,6,3) boys would be appreciated. More important this trip fo rthe kids to catch a few so we get 3 new members here in time.....

Will be in a Ranger ute, so will get most places if required.

Thanks in advance, will post a report when we are back after 16/1/15. Bushy.

Have a quick search - there are a number of threads on here where members have asked the same question or commented on spots fished.

We were down there a couple of years ago - stayed at Quaalup so just outside Bremer.  There are a couple of great beaches etc if you head towards the Doubtful Island but will require a little 4x4ing.  Horse Beach/Whalebone beach was awsome and  I think Peppermint Beach was probably one of the most stunning I've ever been too.  Didn't do much fishing as it was a bit of a look-see trip but did note some spots that looked like they'd hold fish.

Enjoy!

Fosters or reef beach are worth a go for a resident salmon or two. Bremer river holds good numbers of bream. There is a little finger jetty on the estuary running off bennet St that is a good spot for kids to fish and you won't have trouble getting a good bream there.

I just got back a couple of weeks ago and the jetty at dark on swarbrick road was great, plenty of light, plagues of herring, the kids loved it.
