Broome and beyond

Hi All. Well in less than a weeks time i'm heading off to Broome and the kimberly's for 7 weeks. Will be heading right up to Kulumbaru and Wyndam as well. As I have never been that far north I was wondering if anyone had any info on good fishing spots up there ie rivers or offshore. We are taking a car topper up with us so should be able to access most spots. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Pentecost

If your fishing the Wyndham area, the Pentecost usually holds some nice barra and giant threadfin. The cartopper will be good for getting to the shallows on the other side where the popeye mullet usually are.

Be wary on big spring tides, as the tide does come in (turns) with a 1-2 foot wave at times. Might catch you out in the topper if your not expecting it.

Keep

No worries Watto69. Plenty of good fish to be had at the Keep River as well (100k's out of Kununurra across the NT border). Depending how keen you are Tanamarra Ck is also good for a couple of days camping but its a bit remote.

Of course there's also the mighty Ord, Mattress Flats (could be Mantinea Flats, memories a bit foggy) would be a good spot for you to start working your way downstream. Can also camp here.
