Bunno deep drop

plan was to fish all night but bagged out on 2nd drop! So cooked up a feed then gutted a carton of sport and woke up at 630 am fishing the 40m line for a tuna! Didn't get any, saw a lot of baitfish on surface!

Was about 120km roughly, would have been easier to head up from busso but me mates were keen for a bit of a sailing trip so we just got on it plus I wanted to see what was around the top of Nat reef

i was reading the the heading and was like.. Wow, this sounds like a lad that would fit in well in gero. ha ha ha, then seen it was you showing off again :)
I was down in Busso on the 3- 6 of this month, hey had some spot on weather down that way. Some very nice fish in deed mate. When ya heading north again :)

Im back out at work now mate. only a short hitch of 21 days this trip thou. Home about the 3rd Mar, wedding in perth on the 5th, then the Abrolhos islands tournament is on from the 12th till 18th March.

Gotta come back and finish
Gotta come back and finish off my islands trip! Was cut short by the fire! Maybe head up in 3 weeks or so! Yeah weather was bliss we never launched until 230pm everyone was coming home as we were heading out! Was the skippers fault as I slept in and stuffed around all morning. Wasn't showing off lol, we got there and I realised I left the cock sock (sea anchor) in the ute. Sea anchor is the biggest hunk of junk I've ever used (have a new one getting built as we speak). Not a good start then only got 2 on first drop and I was off the school by a long way!!!!!! 2nd time was on the money though. The rest of the night was slurred words and half assed attempts to cook venison patties. However I did see some honking big squid, they followed the esca light and smashed it as it hit the surface. Don't think they were the normal varitey squid!!!
Coral bay could get a look I next time, dad was yabbering about it this arvo as he was spraying whale oil (original stuff from Albany as his father worked at the whaling station) all over the boat trailer to stop the rust!

Ya got any screenshots showing what ya looking for chasing these schools for the deep stuff? if ya wheel up home and im there at the same time, should get a bit of a crew together for overnight trip out wide. Or if dont wanna drag the tub up, let me know when ya coming and just jump on my tinny for a trip out
