Burns beach

Hi,
I'm new to fishing here in perth and was looking to fish burns beach as this is my closest beach. I was going to go around 7.30pm, is this a good time and what have people caught off there and does anyone have any tips.

Get there before the sun goes down. In these light winds and low swell, baitcasting whole mulies and slow retrieve is a good chance of a tailor or something bigger if youre super lucky
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Cheers for the advice, I went tonight for a couple of hours caught nothing, lots of weed about...are there any other decent places to fish near there?

Theres normally plenty of
Theres normally plenty of herring and dart around at quinns beach, mid afternoon with a high-ish tide.
