Burswood tragic!

Gday all,

I've got a bad note about Burswood. Me and my uncle went for a late afternoon Bream session untill about 8.00pm and landed 11 Bream ranging from 25cm to 40cm on bait. But once returned back to the car, the whole car windows were all smashed in including the windshield. So luckily I had my phone with me and called my parents and my cousin to come pick us up. I'm not happy on what as happened, so all those rotten mungrels out there who don't have lives go and rot in hell.

Just telling all the fisho's that keep aware on your car and make sure you take all you valuables with you!

Cheers...
Jangles

Its a really party crasher for me, enjoying catching fish and then coming to the car and then seeing that is a horrible sight. Not only that, my uncles car is only 2 days old a brand new Toyota Hilux. Bloody imbosiles!

My reels screaming zzzzzzz.... awwww damn it, its another boat!

All the best for the future fishing trips.

Yeah thats where we parked our car!

We did fish the helipad and got 2 at about 25-26cm and then we decided to head further upwards past the little boat ramp and fished up all along the river up there. Bagged out a mullet aswell, took that home. But I'll post a photo of the Bream I kept for the night its at whopping 42cm, not PB but a mighty effort on bait.

Yeah, good old RAC came by with the massive truck to pick up the car and drop it off home. Its just devistating to see. My uncle was not having any of this and got so angry on what had happened, so he decided on taking the anger on casting as far out as he can and reel it in like no tomorrow.

you werent fishing herrison island where you?  That place is a hotspot for car theives, just as bad as the ammo jetty in cockburn.

And if so, herrison island is now closed for fishing in the inlets...

You gotta wonder what's in their heads

Can't understand the mentality, or that they aren't seen, usually loads of people around. Did they steal anything as well??
There was the same thing in Karrinyup shopping centre car park Friday arvo, 2 weeks ago - 4 cars bays away. All windows smashed and glass everywhere. It was OK when I arrived. Security there wanted nothing to do with it. Totally sensless and a real piss off.

I do whatever the little voices tell me to do

i was there once with a mate and a bunch of redneck bogans rocked up yelling out racist comments to families fishing.

the blowies stop bighting when the sun goes down, but then the scum bags come out.

Sorry to hear about your car...it's a shame that so many spots are ruined by the potential for getting your car trashed. Some other spots to watch out for are Point Peron (everytime I park there I fear for my car...broken glass all over the car park) and Long Point down Port Kennedy way. Awesome spot in the Summer but again, broken glass in the car park. A telltale sign. 42 cm black bream is a great catch by the way! Well done.

Hi Ya, That's the reason I

Hi Ya,

That's the reason I don't fish much in Perth anymore.  Got my car broken into twice in 36 hours on the coast a year or 3 back.

If I can't sit in the car to fish, I don't fish.

Cheers.

Maggots!

Jangles, I feel for you and your uncle....and everyone else who's had their car broken into (which is pretty well everyone of us).

20 minutes in a padded and sound proof room with a "large remedial social behavioural trainer" (a bloody big stick!) would sort most of these shitbags out!

I get so pissed off when I hear about these oxygen thieves doing the things they do!

Anyway, better days ahead!

Cheers,

T.
