Busselton jetty

Went for a walk on the Busselton jetty today and was appalled at the amount of vehicle traffic and how unsafe it was (five vehicles in forty minutes) estimated speeds of up to thirty kilometres an hour. It won't be long before someone is seriously hurt or killed if the traffic is allowed to continue at such speeds. There is no way I'm letting my kids go on the jetty alone. Far to dangerous.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

The train went  past twice, jetty building contractors twice and jetty underwater observatory staff once in the red service vehicles .It was like a freeway. The people in charge are aware because it is so obvious and it has been in the local paper(letters to the editor).

I've also noticed the amount of traffic on the Jetty and the speed they travel and you'd think the Dept. of Health and Safety would be exercising their powers and slapping a few wrists but it will never happen until someone gets hurt and then it will be to late.

You watch they will close it

You watch they will close it off to pedestrian traffic before closing it off to vehicles.  There are too many bright sparks in the Dept to think about removing the vehicles.
