was thinking as far up as maybe monkey mia/denham brownie points with misses n kids for seeing the dolphins and didnt realy want a caravan park looking more for the calm maintained bush camps the place down south is $5 a night campfire and dog friendly solar showers and toilets and less than 100mts from a good sandy beach one direction and rocks the other

facilities

to be honest mustang I cant think of anywhere that might have these facilities.

I think sandycape has toilets but not sure about dogs there.

maybe you should get a chemi toilet and a camp shower (one of the better ones that runs off gas/gen or 12V) and then you can go offroad at somehere like lucky bay as a compromise

monkey mia is a good family option but maybe you will just have to make do with a bbq and not a camp fire either way its still a caravan park

We just got back from this place www.doublebeach.com.au, it is either a five minute walk to the beach or a drive out of the caravan park (also 5 minutes to the water), dog friendly if on leads and if you have an enclosed fire, they are ok with them - so take a fire pit or similar and all good. Plenty of wood around if you have a small chainsaw.

Friendly park manager, good amenities - if you got a site up the back of the park, the walk to beach is even closer :)

Someone recently posted a report from south gregorys on cape peron shark bay.  Perhaps worth checking?  Not sure of the dog situation.

South Gregories is a good camp spot, was there last month. It is in a national park so no pets or fires, also no showers. The long drop toilets are well made and maintained though.
