Can anyone ID this please

Sorry about the quality, captured from a video.

 I reckon I should know what these is - I'm sure Ive seen it on wall charts.  Can anyone tell me?  50cm long caught at Esperence.

 Also, are there any online catalogs that can be refernced.  I typically forget my fish ID book.

I rate them as an eating fish. Not sure what others opinions are but i'll usually shoot a couple if I see them.

I agree with dd83wa its a sea sweep,they are better eating than the banded sweep but still don't make it in to my take home list by a country mile.

they have a darker flesh but their not too bad on the tooth, i know people that do enjoy them on the plate. you must bleed them straight away otherwise the meat goes darker and not as good on the tooth. i wouldnt bother with the banded sweep tho
