We went down on Saturday night. So so so many boats, mostly doing 3.5 knots putting up and down without trouble, with the occasional numpty trying to overtake.
And people with spotlights on the bow, yeah, you can see, but everyone going towards you can't.
Always a pleasure to see the kids faces light up. The only downer was when it was time to retreive.
The Leslie Street ramp, being a single lane ramp had a slow but orderly queue going but of course some douche with a ski/wake boat pushes in after dropping his mate off at the jetty to get the car saying you "retrieve in order of cars not boats". Dickhead. He then proceeds to drive on to the trailer which creates a hole at the bottom of these types of ramps. To wrap up his hat-trick of douchery, drives only a short distance up from the ramp to strap up the boat so that the next people trying to reverse are presented with a much shorter distance to line up their trailers.
Next time I'm going to try the new ramps off Waterlily drive.
