G'day to all the Fishwrecked team
It's my first time so be gentle, I'm heading up to Cape Kerauden shortly & am wondering if anyone has any tips? I called in there last year on the way back from 80 mile & have been hangin out to get a line in the water there ever since.

Welcome Blackers
Unfortunately I have never fished cape Kerauden and actually have no idea where it is. Is it beach or rock fishing that you are doing up there?
If its in the Pilbara maybe one of the Pilbara Pirates can jump in with some ideas.
Good luck anyway, sounds like an awesome trip you have planned.
Cheers

Hi guys,I'll be heading up
Hi guys,
I'll be heading up with my tinny, jacks & crabs should be easy, black jew & threadies will be on the wish list. Big tides are a challenge up this way, Tom Price is home & I have had a good look around from onslow to Bala Bala. I've heard good stories of the cape but as with anywhere, not knowing the place will be a challenge
thanks, Blackers

blackers, my oldies used to
blackers, my oldies used to live in headland and the old boy raves about cape kerauden, but he has been known to speak a bit of bull@#*t... I will ask him about the place and get back to you with some info. Depending on when you go watch the weather, these easlerlies are blowin hard mate could be a pain in the bum. I would expect large tides too perhaps up to 6 meters depending on when you go. Perhaps try to plan your trip around the neaps
good luck

Fished it about 3 years ago
Fished it about 3 years ago with a tinny, had some good fun on big golden trevs trolling in close to the cliffs south of the inlet, also saw some come in from the rocks,
Have to fish around the tides as the inlet empties out, at low tide there is big islands in the mouth that are under water at high tide and we did see some big blue bone come from behind them on the high tide , heard they were using rock crabs? Did not have any luck ourselves with them(bugger it)
It was one of our favorite spots on an around OZ trip
Good luck hope the weather is good
