In car GPS Navigator thingy's

Anybody got any recommendations on what's a good type and model of one of those in car GPS navigator things that people have on their windscreens? My wife has said she wants one and since I know jack about them, I figured I'd put it out there.
Cheers
Dale

I haven't used any other
I haven't used any other brand but Garmin and even with the latest maps, it still gets some addresses wrong. It's brought me to dead ends and wanted me to continue, it has instructed me to jump road dividers and points out the destination on the wrong side of the street. I use it for my night job delivering pizzas most evenings, so maybe that is why these things seem to happen more often then they should.
