hi this isnt fishing related but im sure someone here can help me out
i have a brigss&stratton 2.5hp engine, and the screws/bolts that hold the carby to the engine keep going loose and eventually falling out causing the engine to not run etc
is it okay to put some threadlocker on it such as locktite?
thanks

Yep, but use a low to medium
Yep, but use a low to medium strength screw/thead locker. Anything too strong and you may have trouble getting them out again.

If the bolts are not strong
If the bolts are not strong wouldnt use loctite, instead use the spring washers to keep tension.

Springs or stars
I would go the same as Dicey and use new spring or star washers and only then if they don't work use low stength Loctite.
