Hi all.
Just read this in the Times online. Considering everything that is going on in the world of bag limits and bans etc I can't believe people still try to get away with it. For those that think it doesn't happen.....go on, think again. .

still though,
it does suck how we are on such tight restrictions of pinkies in shark bay (only allowed 1 or 2, between certain sizes, and if you hold your tongue the right way...), and these phucks are bringing in 1300kgs ABOVE what they're already allowed.

Yeah 1348kg breaks down to 330+ fish if they were to average 4kg in size..so in all likelyhood a lot more than that. I have a serious dose of the you know whats right about now. No wonder we soon won't be allowed out there to catch any, if there are in fact any left, and why we are in the position we are in.

He got caught after a tip off
from a service station owner if it is the one i am thinking of.Doesnt matter how well you think you have worked it out there is always a glitch.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

That's the least of it.
When I lived in Shark Bay I saw a hell of a lot of rec fishers with freezer trailers/rotating camp shifts/filleting shifts/Cryo/convoy back to perth/mandurah. Hardly rec fishing. In fact one guy bragged about their half ton of fillets. I alerted authorities who checked them on the road out and every kilo was accounted for apparently. I can't blame people for wanting some fish to take home but this is the grey area.
