People
I know a few people with them and they seem pretty happy.
Still waiting on some decent comparisons at the trench to see how much better.

I fitted 2 on the tug I work
I fitted 2 on the tug I work on a month back.
But ours is used more because the signal doesnt penetrate into the steel hull so the Coverage unit is installed below deck and the Network unit near a port hole.
The phone signal outside is reasonable where i work so its purpose isnt really to get longer range.
For extended range its mainly going to depend how high you can get the antennae, and its a bit heftier than a VHF or UHF one.
Also though, the network and Coverage units have to be at least 10 meters apart with the models we used, so wouldnt work on a small boat
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

Different
Yours might be different Rob. The ones I know of needed to be around 3m apart.
