Century boats

Hi guys I am after a bit of first hand info on anyone that has owned/been on a century boat. I am looking at a 2006 2400 walk around at the moment. Have done a lot of reading on USA forums and seems pre 2004 they were average but since then have lifted their game as owned by yamaha. Wondering if anyone can give me first hand info about riding quality in our wa wawaters

cheers Sammy

I looked at a century boat when I was looking in the state and found Yamaha don't build them any more. Best look at something that is still being produced because believe it or not the manufacturers over there will still provide you a level of after sales service. Parts ,fittings etc as well as being contactable in some form if you have any questions.

I think you will find a majority of the builders outside the "Genmar" group dont exist anymore -doesnt make them bad boats -just a state of the economy.
I too looked at Century (centre console) but ended up going with a Sea Pro (Sea Hunt) simply because i prefered the layout - should be able to find out something about ride quality on a forum like THT
