Cervantes This Long Weekend

hey all first time poster on here! usually fish for buckets of whiting and herring in ledge point but this long weekend going further north to cervantes and have heard that I may be able to expand my range of seafood by chasing some squid and crabs off the jetty in town! is anyone able to confirm or deny this or have some other hints as to what i need to rig up for off the jetty or beach! thanks guys any help is much appreciated!

gday mate, ive fished cervanties a fair bit, you can get squid of the jetty yes, best time i found was at night with the lights on the jetty beeing on, also poss to get crabs but wrong time of year, needs to be in summer where the crabs are in shallow water,
