Vibes foul hooking

been using a tt 1/4 vibe to pretty good effect on flatties and even whiting, with the snap on second hole from front. have found that it tends to hook itself alot, i.e the hooks (middle or back) often end up catching on the clip/line. sometimes it happens during cast, other times mid-retrieve.

Anyone else had similar problems and found any solutions? on such a small lure I wonder if changing hooks would ruin the action.

Ive had the same issues, Try and stop the lure before it hits the water. Ive found its mainly gettin snagged when it hits the water, Also bit more of a lob also helps.
