Cervantes - Long Weekend in June 2012

Going up to Cervantes this long weekend to do some fishing. Any advice on the best areas to fish, ideal time of the day, what rig/bait to use and whats out there to catch please?

Head to
the main jetty for herring , skippy, squid and the odd talior.( dont use weight there just floats or straight to your hook. casting ganged whole mulies works well too!) Black peak for herring ,tailor, flat head, occasional mulla's and sharks.( talior rig, balloon ect) Hill river for the same. (same)

What about the beaches? Thirsty Point, Kangaroo Point, Hangover Bay? Any of them any good?
