Cheap Sounders

Hi guys,
While my Caribbean is going through the insurance process, I have picked up a little plate Ali side console, which needs a little bit of an electrical upgrade.
Does anyone have experience with the lower end of the sounder range?
I'm looking for something in the $500-750 range and 7in or bigger screen. And a combo with maps.

The above will come in at the top of your range and I'm pretty sure it will end up being on your big boat on the baitboard later on!. CH Smith are selling em with a c-map tranny and free freight for $786.
My wife understands why I clean my rods n reels in the shower....

2 oceans tackle have the
2 oceans tackle have the simrad cruise 9 for about the same price fyi (but you have to ring and ask)- we got one at boat show for 715 with the skimmer type transducer and preloaded maps which are "ok" if you want detail you will have to invest in a card

Lowrance elite 9 ti we're
Lowrance elite 9 ti we're getting ran out as the new model fs is here. Prices a touch above your budget but I think it's worth it. I have one on my roof topper.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Raymarine Dragonfly are good little unit. I had one on my previous boat and it picked up all sorts of structure pretty well.

Where can I buy an Elite 9 ti for under a grand? I can't find any places with it on special, and is it the elite ti 9 or the elite ti2 9?

Bcf had them for $999 as

Was the TI2.
The new model is the fs. Seems the have a faster processor, pinch to zoom and a nicer looking screen. But it's close to double the price.
