left some chicken breast out too long,wasn't keen to eat it,put it thru the berly pot today,caught our limit of big fat skippy,threw back about 15, got a KGW at 50 cm and a couple of sambos released. It was a bit blowly but a nice ride home.sure beats working

Nice one with the chicken burley.
I like to mince anything in the fridge that looks like it was once alive and try it out as burley. It annoys the mrs a bit when she had plans to use it for a meal, but if it works and attracts the fish then it is worth it.

rice bubbles
many years ago when the boys were young we used to use rice bubbles, talk about snap crakle pop, it was hard to get a dry rice bubble onto a hook though

Chicken fat
is absolutely brilliant to mix in with burley or even minced fish. I used to get the fat from the rotisserie at the local deli - absolute killer addition.
