Usually fish down the
Usually fish down the Oceanfast (austal ships) side of ASI groin off quill way in henderson industrial park. Go right out the end and I've caught skippy, herring, gaarfish, yellowtail and there's heaps of baby snapper around.. their fun to catch anyway when you use light line like I do.
burley cage with a size 6 circle hook is what I use (maggots or pilchard for bait), but long shank and suicide hooks work just as well. Get down anywhere along the wall and your likely to catch fish, just burley the hell out o fthe water with some pollard and tuna oil mix. before sunrise to a few hours into morning is good as is around sunset.
If your keen for a fish send me a message and we can organise a fishing trip if you like.
Cheers
