Cockburn Sound Samson's ??

Hey everyone, I have family over from interstate and have been dying to get into some Samson's, but with the weather looking crap on the weekend it looks like they may miss out, unless I fish the sound? Is there any reliable areas that hold Samson's Inside protected waters?
is there a decent chance? Normally fish north so not sureThanks in advance

just outside
stragglers and mewstone would be your best bet but it is outside the sound. Troll live baits deep.

All sambos and amberjacks ive ever caught inside the sound have been little ones and found the distribution sporadic at best.

What size boat have you got?
What size boat have you got? Weather Saturday morning looks alright to head out to 5 fathom bank and anchor and burley, that's probly your best bet if you can't go out wide.
