Where are you heading Sam?
Got most of the stuff I need for the Onslow trip, but it might be good to pop around to meet some more of the fishwrecked guys (but one eye will still be on the bargains of course... :P)

No food for you hlokky
Mate, by the time you weight tested every single boat rod at CA, the food'll all be gone![Sealed Sealed](/sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-sealed.gif)

Would like to get up there, meet a few fellow fishos and hopefully tee up some fishing trips.
Thanks for organising it anyway fellas.

You know I'm just teasing - yeah saw ya post - nah, good on ya for being so thorough - mind you, if we were all like that - I think we'd solve the unemployment problem - everyone would be behind the counter in tackle shops LOL.

No problems Colin, I took it
No problems Colin, I took it with the light-heartedness it was intended
The overhead was the only rod I've been that thorough on, just because I didnt want another rod that didnt suit me (especially with the dough it was going to cost). All my lighter rods I've gotten a bit quicker and without sinker weight tests (a lot of working curve testing of course though), hehe.
I guess theres a lot of mobile tackleshops on here though. The only difference is that they dont sell, only buy,

There'll always be a lot of debate on many fishing aspects and I think boat rods are up there with the bst of them. Comes down to what you want to spend and personal preference I guess. I (now) laugh at some of my original boat rods - that was in the days that I only looked at length and nothing else. LOL. Still, they did the job at the time and one serves a 'release weight winch'.
