Coral Bay

Spent the past two weeks up in the bay.
Second year in a row we have had unfavorable weather however we managed to make it happen
Hit up the goldys in a major way, the largest one went a touch under 7kg and had a few people peering in the box at the tables
Sharks were horrible both behind the reef on the macks and also down south
My last day ended not very well, sliced my finger severed all 3 tendons and most of the nerves, painful quick dash back to Perth thru the night towing the boat straight to hospital and admitted to theatre
the girls at the nurses post were fantastic.
all good fun
finger should be primed and ready for next July

Those big goldies are hard to find, mid size not so much. Good fishing by the looks.

That is one great goldie
You don't see to many goldies of that size now days, very good catch. Sorry to hear about the hand, those sorts of things can really put the kybosh on a holiday.

A few things I have noticed from this post
First and foremost that hand injury would have hurt like hell!
Secondly thise butcher style / waterproof aprons is an awesome idea.
