cant say landbased coral bay but mahi mahi ii for a charter.

exmouth landbased there are heaps of options. anywhere on the west coast , there is plenty of tracks heading towards the beaches off the main drag on the west side. also the leahmonth jetty. not the right spelling sorry. even try around the marinas and canals, have heard of nice fish being taken from them

Yeah definitely don’t disregard fishing inside the marina in exy. Seen some really good fish pulled out of there over the years by the young local boys.big jacks , cod , even seen a nice trout caught in there Fishing the other side of the ramp is best at times( near where the prawn trawlers are ) but the marina got bought out and think they may have blocked access to that side now. Either way still good fish to be had straight off the ramp. West side accesses are your best bet but if the wind isn’t playing the game head round to Learmonth jetty. Gold twistys are the go. Don’t forget ya cast net either

I found sometimes fishing

Wed, 2018-07-25 15:28

I found sometimes fishing near the bundegi boat ramp there would be heaps of baitfish schools and some queenies etc smashing them....good fun to throw some lures at.
learmoth jetty good, have found water can get pretty shitty depending on the tide, I have found it no good when tide heading out.
I have found the bays can vary, what I have done in the past is drive and try and find where the bait schools are hanging, then head there at first light and have had luck with queenies, trvally and small mackerel etc,.

Landbased there is a beach just north of coral bays airstrip that fishes pretty good at night exmouth is great landbased best advice is park up at a beach grab a rod and a bunch of stickbaits around the 90mm size and some water and start walking you will be suprised also along tge marina wall is a great spot for squid. I take it you already have charters booked but peak sportsfishin in exmouth is good eddy will put u on the fish good luck

Land based in Coral Bay you

Wed, 2018-07-25 22:11

Land based in Coral Bay you have Maud’s landing Just north of town good for a few trevs or if lucky Cobia or makie on sunset. Down at the boat ramp if you can catch some of the hardy heads with bait catcher then put a hook through the nose any queeny within a mile will find it and also the odd spango. If you have a 4b the sand bar to the north is prob the best land based spot out of coral bay. Pop into one of the tour offices and they should have a mud map of how to get there. If you can try to fish the rising tide and hour before leading up to high is usally the best time. And I have heard good things about Seaforce Charters
