Couple of mid-year trips up North
Was meant to do this alot earlier but better late than never.
With my first 'proper' boat bought at the start of the year I booked in a couple of holidays up North to try and sample some of WA's great fishing. Hit Gnaraloo with a mate at the end of June for a week; only ended up getting 2 days of fishing in the boat and after a shakey trip with weather and breakdowns, we managed to get some good fish on the last day which was great. Then went to Coral bay towards the end of July with the bro's and did a little better. Nothing huge but it was great to get some good fish from my boat!
Now that I've tasted Gnaraloo, I am deadset keen to get back for a proper crack next year! Thanks to the forum members which helped me out with my Gnaraloo prep
Enjoy..

Thanks Gents
We came up with a list of fish we wanted to catch on the way up to Gnaraloo and managed to tick off; Red, Robbo, Spango and the Coronation but missed the Rankin (I managed a few of those in Coral bay). There were a few hoots when the Coro came up that's for sure!
The tuna raised a few eyebrows at the tables that arvo - apparently no one could find them so the sashimi was extra tastey haha.
