Gday All,
finally got to get out for a fish, not a bad day in the end, jigging was a little tricky due to the fast current out wide - took my uncle out from England who is over on holidays, highlight for him was a double header baldy which he was stoked with, got our 6 for the day and let a few go. As per usual lost a couple of big ones early, the new rod and reel almost got thrown overboard :). Didnt have any bait rigs so dropped down to the shop the night before to grab some pre made ones, they are shit house - the uncle lost a couple of goodens also to straighten hooks.
The usual Sambos turned up smashing the jigs, always good fun on the light gear - tested out the new stella 5000 anyway, big noah kept coming up and snatching them - was good to see one in action.
Pic probably doesnt do it justice - nothing massive but all good table size, baldies were all around the 60cm, Pinky was just under 70, and the dhuie was 78cm

haha Gday mate how you going, been getting out much? na definately no bait for us, just the uncle - thought it might be a bit easier for him to use, bloody reminded me why i dont use it watchen the poor fella pump and wind those big sinkers up all day, plus the extra half hour it took me to get the smell out of the boat :)
