A couple of pilbara trout
Got out for a bash today with the plan to do a bit of exploring . The winds weren't as good as predicted but still fishable. First area we tried held some small blue lined and managed a dark tail . Final drift in that area resulted in my first legal trout.
Moved out a bit further looking for some ground with no luck. Having a look on the g p s i decided to head in a bit to some ground that i would like to try out . On the way we same across a nice lump in the middle of no man's land that was holding fish .
Spun the boat around setting up a drift . In the end after 4 drifts over the area we nailed some nice size blue lined and another nice trout . Sandy also got a just legal trout that we returned to fight another day. Had a classic catch today , I hooked up to a fish of a decent size but unfortunately I was bitten off , within a few seconds Sandy hooked up to a nice fish That turned out to be a good size blue lined and there was my hook in its top lip. The bugger must have been hungry.
