Couple of sounder pics- Mandurah Artificial Reef

 Hi FWer's

Went out Thursday to check the pots and get a feed of Whiting. Got our first 4 Whites then run out to the Whiting Patch and got a bag of Whiting pretty quickly. Was early and the day was getting better. So a quick search for the co ords for the new artificial reef and we were on our way. This is how they come up on my 587. As you can see I didn't bother zooming in on them.

We also got out in my Bro in Laws boat about a month ago. He has a Hummingbird 917. Seemed like they were holding a lot more bait that day

Got one little Shark and a couple of baby Pinkies, we also had a small school of Big Pilchard like fish come around put 2 down live but no luck. Sorry don't know how to straighten photos

Cheers Chris

Looks like the modules are holding a lot of bait fish, with a couple of big returns of to one side. Sambos maybe.

Mandurah artificial reef lately and if so how did you go, last time I was out there there was plenty of reasonable size sand whiting in between the two clusters of modules.
