Crabbing in Mandurah
Submitted by frown888 on Tue, 2012-10-16 18:38
Hi,
The crabbing season in the Mandurah/Harvey estuary is closed until the 31st of October. I was just wondering, say I go down early morning the weekend after the season starts again, would my chances of getting any crabs be good? I have no idea what the best time of year is for the blue manna.
Thanks

I'd say your chances would
I'd say your chances would be more than good. Just leave the females.

Boat or Walkén
Don't think you'll have much luck walkén, but if ya set out a few drop nets always a chance of a few. JettyRat posted early last week that the Busso jetty was running hot so they should start turning up.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.
