Shark
Tried it once years ago and found it doesn't work, no oil in it to attract crays
If you don't use frozen bait then be prepared to learn how to pull wobbies out of your pots as fresh bait is what they love

Funny story many years ago I
Funny story many years ago I tried a couple of chooks in a couple of pots that we got from local farm. Had rough weather and could not get out for over a week, when I pulled the last pot there was an egg in the bait box and nothing else we thought who was stupid enough to put an egg in the box, wasn't till the trip back in that we realised it was from the chook. Anything with feathers worked well, back now illegal.
Mullet is good with us now.

Most tackle shops selling
Most tackle shops selling cray bait. Some if not most are way over priced. Shop around and see the best price some places are a lot cheaper than others. If your in Malaga hit gumtree up. You won't need heaps of roughy. But load it with slimy macks.
