Solar with battery backup

 Hi guys,

the time has come and we are looking for solar panels with battery backup, we are averaging 44 units a day. We have a spa and reverse cycle aircon, not sure what size system or company to go through.

Needs to be one that has payment plans.

Thanks

Shane

That's a lot of usage.......I would go for no less than a 5kw setup. More if possible. No nothing about batteries tho.
And you still living in Mandurah ?

 Battery units far too

Battery units far too expensive to buy yet I think. Also you won't get the savings you think unless someone is home using the power during daylight hours so if the washing and or dryer are used during the evening then no savings. I developed a number of spread sheets to track historical use prior to solar and then since installing and there are excellent savings. I asked around a number of repairers to find out what was the systems commonly repaired and made a product decision based on that. Happy to give you more details if you want to message me.

If you go over a 5Kw inverter you do not get any credit from the power company
