Crayfish - a decade ago.

Sorting out photo's on the 'puter, and came across these old photo's of some crayfish we caught.

They are sitting atop 3 eskies and with some feet in the background you can judge the size.

The 'baby' at the bottom was still well over legal size.

The biggest I could only just grip over the carapace.

I still remember the garlic buter sauce we ate them with!!!

Nice! Just cooking my last two in the freezer for lunch. Its just to remind me what they taste like before the season opens ;)

We got some big ones last year ,and found them not much on the tooth.the smaller ones taste much better IMO.A great pic .must have been a few around .Bring on the cray run .give us a purpose to be in the water instead of site seeing
