My daughter has an audition at WAPA in the late morning and that will just take the rest of the day, so if I get to go out, it will be at the crack of dawn.

Going Sunday...
...early as, and am still looking for a fellow dive buddy so PM me if you want to go for a swim out of Mandurah. Was at Horseshoe Reef this morning (fishing) and could see all those familiar bommies and ledges that have been so good to us in the past!

1st timer
Just a bit of a novice question coz im a 1st timer. From what ive gathered the general thing to do is drop ur pots in the morning and pull them the following morning, is this because the crays move at nite or for someother reason?

You are no allowed to pull your puts i think after 6:00 pm or thereabouts, would need to be confirmed, and I believe they cant be pulled before about 5ish, although I still need to confirm that as well The exact times. It generally coincides with sun down and sun up. The times change during the season, after the summer months have passed. Im guessing it has to do with the movemets of the crays at night.

The pots can not be pulled
from 7:30pm to 4:30am during the summer months, ending on the 31st of March. After that it is 6:00pm to 6:00am. I dont think crays can taking whilst diving during these times either, which would definently have something to do with them going for wallkkkeeeeess....

I know people that do
only because they have been set the day before. I wouldn't think there would be much point in pulling them if they had been set that morning. The pot thing is new to me, I've always dived in the past for mine.
