Still out there
Pulled our pots again today.
7 from 2
0, 7
All reds, all keepers. Some good size. Bait totally smashed.
Not like last pull 6 days ago. 3 keepers, about 7 returned. Large female in berry and about 6 with tar spot
Pot with 0 in about 11 metres and other pot ( had 13 a while back) in about 18 metres. No Bronzies any longer. Seems like they are around with the whites
Might pull again about Saturday
Don't spend all your money on beer, boats, and fishing. Save some to spend foolishly

Disappointed
Well you guys up in Perth are having a lot more success than me and my mate down in Margaret River.
Had the 4 pots out for over a month, probably about a dozen pulls, $100 in bait, and have eaten exactly two crays, with a couple more that were tar spot or berried.
Tried multiple baits, depths, held my tongue to the left, right, even upside down, no change.
*sigh*
At least I know what I'm doing with demersals.

Well, I'm happy to say that
Well, I'm happy to say that the crays are definitely around, they just take a bit longer to show up down south. Pulled this bad boy up yesterday. Biggest I've pulled up. The pot had a slat missing, and this stonker was too fat to fit through the bigger gap.
The decky was pretty happy
