Crays first timer

 First time on the Crays  this year I see we are allowed to keep setose females now so everything size without eggs is legal now or am I reading this wrong

 My reading is that you bring setose back to your boat as it is too hard to see setose while underwater.  However you cannot keep them.  Tar spot and Berried can be checked while underwater and cannot be taken back to the boat.

I think you will find most people dont know the difference between sertose and Tar spot :)

 

Tar and berried up crays are a no no.

 

I agree with the regs, divers should be able to come  back to the boat with them (not knowing they are tarred or berried) and release, a lot safer and no different to pots.
