Current state of Yardie Creek crossing

Anyone have any firm info on whether the creek crossing is useable at any state of the tide at the moment? Could have changed in the last few days due to a bit of rain. I hate going the long way into Exmouth for stores and fuel...

Its the worst ive ever seen it in the whole time ive been in exmouth.  People do go accross on very low tides but go out to sea and around that way. Its about 2m deep where you usually drive accross with a sand bank a bit out to sea. Sand bank is boggy as and you have to go accross where the creek is flowing in and out. Its not very wide and its boggy,   I like my car to much to risk it.  Just saying as people do cross it regularly. Towing something accross would be a whole different thing Though.   If you go on FB and look up " all 4 adventure " the tv show They crossed it the othe day and have posted some photos which should give you a good idea of what its like.

The usual track through was well washed out from that big dump

We had a look at it July last year, people were launching inside the creek and motoring out--looked like a bar was forming out there. Checked up on this earlier, and was told it was passable right out at the mouth at low tide, but i was guessing any rain at all would kill that.

Oh, well, long way around, I guess--the dirt is not so bad when you aren't towing, those 200 series driven by old farts are just rolling roadblocks to me
