Daddy Long Legs - New record cray!

after a few major FUBAR's to get out diving over the last 2 weeks, I managed to get out yesterday arvo for my first dive of the season. its just like riding a bike! we decided to find a new lump first, and if we come up short, visit a regular lump. I think we found another honey hole.... 1 tank each, and 3 of us came up with over 30 crays. none needing measuring. threw back the remainder, and kept our bag. I got this monster too, which I've submitted as a new FW record, as his extra long legs put him at 88cms overall! weighed a smidge over 4kgs too. get in ma belly!

Very nice scotto. What dinghy do you have & how big?? Looks nice n stable for climbing in after a dive.

best boat I have ever owned!
it does everything I need it to, and the 50 four stroke outboard averages less than 10 litres of fuel per trip. I've certainly got my monies worth out of this boat.
and yes, she's 2.2m wide, so very stable, and easy to get in/out of whilst diving. it dives 3 easy.

I dont isually weigh them, but thought i should, as ive submitted him as a fw record. He surprised me by weighing in at 4.08kgs. Didnt think he was gonna go over 3.5/3.6!

Unfortunately, we had an encounter with fisheries where they stated that if we surfaced with more than our personal bag limit (8), then we would be in breach of Fishing rules?
Huh, new to me.
So we now ensure we only have our personal bag limit when we surface
