Rust Proofing
All that chrome is good rust proofing for when you tie the rods on the back and head off down the beach chasing salmon Pete.
Nah, looks a treat, lot of time and work has gone in to getting it up the that fine standard

the only chrome on the bike is the front guard and shocky springs , the rest is all polished ali , bet that bike brings back memorys for blokes like you and uncle of a miss spent youth haha

Know how to ride one---well sort of!
Owned a three wheeler to go fishing on but never even considered buying a road or trail bike. Eldest sister and her boyfriend came a big gutser of a gold star BSA when I was about 11 and remembered what they went through. Always in the back of the mind that bike riders are only temporary Australians. Was in hospital from a car prang for 10 weeks, mate in next ward was in for 4 months after coming off Honda 4oo x 4, in same time 4 blokes from Bunbury died in bike stacks, right after the Honda and Kwacca 750 and 900 came out.
