Day 1 and day 2
Submitted by Bunny on Wed, 2014-12-10 06:01
A mate and I have a few days off and the first two days has produced some good fishing. We left them biting both times as we had enough fish. The second day was a struggle early on the bottom but the top water action was pretty special with flying Spanish hitting stickbaits in amongst GTs. The first day we never went more than 5 miles offshore and had a ball. The trout in that pic with the Cobia is around 65cm. Will put a full report up with video when we are done.

Wow
Now thats a quality bag. You chaps in FNQ must have a more generous bag limit than we do in WA hey.

Yes we do have far more
Yes we do have far more generous limits than you guys. We could have caught more and did release a few as well. Ciguatera is an issue with big trout and the subject did come up with those two big ones but I reckon they will be ok. We have separated them from the rest though :)
