Day 4 fishing in Coral Bay
Well it had to happen, perfect weather, no wind and the fish were biting. Headed out at 8.00am and started looking in 90m, landed a couple of Robbos and a Rankin with a small Red. Weather was too good so up and off to 130m chasing Goldband.
Went to my secret spot which is probably 10,000 other peoples secret spot and down went the lines. An hour later and it was bagged out time. Scored a nice Red, scarlet sea perch and a swag of Goldband and Rosie's.
Return trip sitting on 26 knots all the way and off the ramp with still a lot of boats still out making the best of the light winds and sunny weather.
Most fish were taken on fresh fish and squid. The Robbos definitely preferred squid but the others were all on fresh fish. Only lost a couple of fish to the taxman and they must have been big buggers because they took the whole rig!
Another nice day tomorrow so we will try and do it all again. Couple of pics below.
cheers
